Intuition-Driven Growth
Over the years, Things I Like Things I Love has become a well known name across the Netherlands, with an inspiring webshop and stores in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, and Nijmegen (opening August 2024). The store's signature linen bags are now a common sight on the streets of Holland. "We never had a preconceived business plan; we just followed our passion and intuition," says Petra. "Even though that's still our strength, we have grown and matured on how we run the business based on our experience."
Clothing and Interior Design
Their passion and intuition have led to the creation of their own clothing label, designed by Sanne and Isabel, and produced in a small factory in Thailand. "They really feel like our family," says Sanne.
Petra oversees the home interior collection: "The Home Collection is much larger online than in the stores; from mugs to tables, everything is available off and online." Her ambition is to have a store entirely filled with TILTIL Home products.
Tough and Tasteful Style
The style of Things I Like Things I Love clothing line, is best described as tasteful and impactful, with a bold, yet vintage edge. Petra and Sanne wanted to create an experience where everything you see can be yours, from clothing and home decor to jewelry and gifts, all at affordable prices. They respond to trends but always in their own unique way.
Dreaming Big
In addition to their clothing line, they now offer more collections, such as the Mini Edition for children, the denim collection, and the Conscious line produced in Portugal. "Everything available at Things I Like Things I Love mirrors our personal taste," says Sanne. "You might come in for a sweater or a shirt, but you'll leave with additional items and a wishlist for your next visit."
Constant development and growth are crucial, Petra emphasizes. "That way, our work remains our greatest passion." Their dream is to open even more stores across the Netherlands. "We want everyone to be able to hop on a bike and come shop with us, no matter where they are!"
